Membership Options
Adult Full-Service Membership
This membership allows use of the Fitness Center and unlimited participation in the fitness classes.
Payment: Annual payment or monthly bank/credit card drafting. One-time enrollment fee, a non-refundable initiation fee required of new members and returning members whose memberships have lapsed for three months or more.

Bay Area Membership
This membership allows facility use at any of the YMCA branches throughout the Bay Area at $75 per month. There may be usage restriction or fees for programs or classes at other YMCAs. This membership is perfect for those who work in one place and live in another. Bay Area Membership should be purchased from the YMCA where usage is greatest. Contact any of the Bay Area Y's to determine additional fees or restrictions. Valid at: Berkeley-Albany YMCA, YMCA of San Francisco, Mt. Diablo Region YMCA, YMCA of the East Bay, Mid-Peninsula YMCA, Santa Clara Valley YMCA and the Sonoma YMCA.

Teen Full-Service Membership
For youth ages 13 through 17, this membership allows use of the Fitness Center during designated hours and participation in all fitness classes. All Teen Members must complete a new member orientation before using the Fitness Center.
Minimum 3 month purchase or monthly bank drafting. Enrollment: None Monthly: $20.00

Program Membership
This annual membership allows you to enroll in classes at the Program Member fee. This is ideal for individuals looking to take classes only. This membership does not allow access to the fitness center.
Class fees additional. Class card available to Program Members only. Annual: $45.00
Program Class Fees 4 classes, $32.00 8 classes, $60.00 12 classes, $90.00 16 classes, $112.00 Program Member drop in, $8.00.
Youth Program Membership
This membership entitles children under 18 to enroll in programs at the Albany YMCA. Valid for both Downtown Berkeley and Albany YMCA youth programs, summer camps, and classes.
Annual: $25.00
Guests Policy
Every Adult Full Service member may bring 12 adults guests per year (or one a month) at no cost. Subsequent guests are $12 per visit. Guests must be accompanied by a member. Guests must be 18 years of age or older to sign the mandatory release of liability. Guests are welcome to attend yoga but at the drop in rate of $12.00 per class. All guests must have a valid photo ID.

Monthly Payment Options
Full-Service or Bay Area Members choose either a bank account or credit card from which the Albany YMCA automatically deducts monthly payments.
Annual Payment
Payment for Full Service and Bay Area Membership may be made in lieu of monthly drafting.
All Returned Checks and Drafts will be subject to a $15 service fee.
Other Fees
Non-member class participation, $12.00. Member from another YMCA: $ 5.00. Members (including Bay Area Members) from another YMCA to Yoga Class: $5.00. No drop-ins permitted for Fitness Center.
Using Other YMCAs
Members may use other YMCAs for a nominal fee, as set by the visited branch. Bay Area Members are encouraged to call other YMCAs for usage restrictions.

Freeze
Adult Full-Service or Bay Area Members may freeze their memberships once a year for one, two or three months. There is a $20 charge for a freeze. Automatic drafts will be suspended for the freeze period beginning with the next calendar draft date after notice is given. Automatic drafts will be resumed after the stated freeze period.
Financial Assistance
If you cannot afford the full cost of a YMCA program or membership, you may apply for financial assistance. Financial assistance, to the extent possible, is available to those in need, based on family income, number of household members, and the availability of YMCA funds. Assistance is provided on a fair and open basis.
All YMCA members receive the same membership benefits, regardless of scholarship assistance.

The YMCA will review the application to determine financial assistance eligibility and you will be notified of the decision.
