Childwatch

 

YMCA Childwatch is a drop-off service Full-Service Members can use while they exercise. Your children are provided with positive social experiences in a secure, happy environment. Childwatch is staffed by loving and conscientious paid staff and volunteers. All staff are CPR and First Aid certified. All staff and volunteers are finger-printed and references are checked. Low ratios are implemented at all times. Available with Full-Service membership only. Please see a copy of the policies and procedures for more information.

Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM, 4:00 - 8:00 PM
Saturday 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Sunday 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Additional cost applies. Cost per ½ hour per child.

 

Financial Assistance for Childwatch e-billing Payments

As of July 1, 2008,the Downtown Berkeley YMCA will begin offering financial assistance for Childwatch monthly electronic bank draft fees for your child(ren)’s participation in the Childwatch program. Applications may be accepted beginning June 1, 2008. Completed financial assistance applications must be submitted no later than 10:00 PM on the 1st and 15th of each month.  

YMCA membership is required of all Childwatch financial assistance applicants. Financial assistance awards cannot be applied toward the cost of a membership or other YMCA programs and are only available for monthly electronic billing payments. Financial assistance is not available for Childwatch hourly rate payments. Awards may not exceed a maximum of $15.00 per child, per month.
