Berkeley-Albany YMCA 2007 Volunteer of the Year

Each year at our annual celebration, we recognize a volunteer from each branch with a video that shows their dedication and the impact their work has on our organization and the lives of those we serve. 

Last year more than 600 people helped strengthen their community by volunteering at the YMCA.  By sharing valuable knowledge and expertise on our boards and commitees, mentoring teens on the college application procces, and by providing positive role models for youth, our volunteers are true community builders.  This year, the Berkeley-Albany YMCA Metropolitan Office honors a volunteer who helps make big things happen:
